Lets See Here...

Well first of all, i've never blogged before, so we'll see how this goes!
I thought it might be interesting to keep a blog about my horse and I. I am training him myself, and I thought it would be neat to keep a journal. With this, it will be a public journal!
First off, main facts.
I'm 16 years old, and have been riding horses since I was 5. Star's Banjo Boy (aka Concho) is the first horse I have trained ALL by myself. I have trained horses for other people, and have ridden other people's horses, but this is the first time I have tried to do everything solo. Concho is 7 this year, half Quarter horse, half appaloosa, but is registered with the Appaloose people. He is around 14.3 hh and is a Grulla. This is my third year having him. I have showed him the last two years in 4-H and he is very willing to please. A few incidents have happened in the past though, that have left me shaken and has sent my confidence spirling downhill. My goal this year is to get my confidence built back up, so I can move forward with Concho's training.
